Learning & Training Manager – 18 Month ContractDublin South | 3 days onsite / 2 remote plus occasional travel within Leinster€65, ,000 per annumThe Role:Our client is expanding their people operations and are now hiring for a Learning & Training Manager on an 18-month contract to implement and manage a coordinated training delivery across their growing business. Reporting to the HR Director, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of training programmes across multiple departments. This is a hands-on operational role - you'll be responsible for moving the organisation from scattered, departmental training approaches to a more integrated, measurable system. You'll work with department managers to plan training activity, liaise with external training providers, track completion and effectiveness, and ensure new starters receive consistent, high-quality induction experiences.What You'll DoAssess current training activity across departments to understand what's being delivered, by whom, and to whomWork with operational and departmental managers to plan and schedule training interventions aligned to business needsSource, select, and manage relationships with external training providers for specialist content deliveryDesign and rollout standardised induction and onboarding processes to ensure consistency for all new joinersCreate and maintain training records, track attendance, and report on training activity and completion ratesDevelop clear pathways and progression frameworks for graduate and early-career programmesCoordinate training delivery schedules to minimise operational disruptionIntroduce basic training metrics and reporting to demonstrate the business impact of training investmentsSupport the selection and implementation of a Learning Management SystemPartner with managers to identify capability gaps and translate these into targeted training solutionsWhat We're Looking For:Essential7+ years' experience managing or delivering training programmes in a multi-site or operationally complex environmentTrack record of implementing training systems and driving adoption across organisationsStrong organisational and project management skills - you can coordinate multiple workstreams, providers, and stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build credibility across different teams and levelsExperience working with external training providers and managing those relationshipsComfortable with data and reporting and able to track training metrics and present findings clearlySelf-motivated and able to work independently to drive initiatives forwardPragmatic approach to problem-solving - comfortable adapting solutions based on operational reality
