Job Role: Metrology Engineer
The successful candidate will work closely with device design and development teams, tooling engineers, program managers, and internal and external customers to deliver parts accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing metrology and inspection services using CT scanning as a primary measuring tool
* Assisting with root cause investigations for non-conforming parts and assemblies
* Supporting new and existing projects from quotation generation to tooling end of life
* Generating quotations, invoicing, and data archiving for CT activities
* Reporting activities including documentation and customer presentations/reviews
* Providing technical support to key vendors/sub-contract manufacturers
* Maintaining lab and work areas in accordance with 6S standard
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T, as well as knowledge of plastic injection molding. Excellent communication skills, including presentation of reports, data, and interaction with stakeholders, are essential.
