Internal Audit Leader Job
This is a leadership role within the Internal Audit function, reporting to the Group Chief Internal Auditor. The Director of Internal Audit will be responsible for delivering independent and objective assurance across multiple jurisdictions in a highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong governance, risk management, and control enhancement skills with experience operating in complex financial services environments. They will lead internal audit activity across the group ensuring effective governance, risk management and control are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing an internal audit plan aligned to the company's strategy and risk profile
* Oversight of quality assurance on all audits
* Fostering relationships with senior stakeholders including executive management and boards
* Mentoring staff members as needed to improve their performance
The director will also participate in business initiatives transforming programs providing expertise advise guidance
on professional conduct auditing standards maintaining methodologies tools up IIA standard features.
