Job Title: Assistant Accountant
This role involves assisting with the preparation of management accounts, including accruals and prepayments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing weekly payroll for approximately 120 employees, as well as purchasing and sales ledger invoice processing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with management account preparation
* Accruals and prepayments
* Weekly payroll processing
* Purchase and sales ledger invoice processing
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Cash lodgements and reconciliations
* Petty cash management
Requirements:
* IATI qualified or minimum part qualified accountant in a recognised accountancy body such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAI or ICAEW
* At least two years' recent finance experience in a relevant finance environment
* Minimum of two years' recent management accounts experience including prepayments/accruals and control account reconciliations
* Minimum of one year's recent experience of processing/overseeing purchase ledger and supplier payment runs
* Minimum of one year's recent work experience of processing/reviewing weekly payroll
