Senior mechanical design specialist

Job Opportunity

A highly skilled and experienced engineer is sought to lead projects, mentor engineers, and ensure best-in-class engineering practices.

* Lead projects from concept to completion with expertise in project management.
* Mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge in mechanical design engineering.
* Develop and implement best-in-class engineering practices for improved efficiency and productivity.
* Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Have at least 6 years of experience in building services consultancy design, preferably in Ireland.
* Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations (TGD parts B, F, G, L) is essential for this role.
* Expertise in HVAC, water services, heating systems, fuel, drainage, and BMS systems is highly desirable.
* Ability to lead and manage mechanical design on projects of all sizes.
* Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness is required for this position.
* Ability to make disciplined project decisions with a high level of professionalism.
