The Role The successful candidate will join a dynamic forestry team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of logs from forest to mill. The position is based in Fermoy and involves close collaboration with harvesting and haulage contractors. Key Responsibilities Support the management of log supply to the Fermoy mill Undertake log valuation and procurement as required Manage assigned harvesting and haulage operations Maintain log specifications and quality standards Operate and update Forest Management Systems Candidate Profile Recognised forestry qualification Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Experience in assessing and valuing timber Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience managing harvesting and haulage contractors Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel Good IT skills
