You will provide expert clinical input, support medication safety and governance, and help drive innovation, service development, and quality improvement across the pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery and development of oncology/haematology clinical pharmacy services Provide expert advice on Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and specialist medicines Manage formulary changes, medicine shortages, and cost-effective medication use Develop and maintain SOPs, clinical guidelines, and medicines information resources Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication management Lead audits, KPI reporting, research, and quality improvement initiatives Support budgeting, drug utilisation reporting, and strategic pharmacy planning Supervise, mentor, and develop pharmacy team members as required Participate in governance meetings, accreditation, and service development projects Requirements Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland, or eligible for registration Minimum 4 years' post-registration hospital pharmacy experience Strong clinical background with oncology/haematology exposure desirable Proven leadership, organisational, and people management skills Experience in audit, quality improvement, and service development Evidence of continued professional development If you have the required experience and are interested in this role, please apply below to Barbara Kelly in complete confidence or call ************.
