Position
Purpose
To support the Line Maintenance Manager in the management of Line Maintenance activities for the airline and to deputise in his/her absence.
Key Accountabilities
* Assist with the rostering and management of Line Engineers at ASLI Line stations
* Liaise with the Civil Aviation Authorities, worldwide Contracted Organisations and other suppliers
* Liaise with the CAMO department to execute the planned aircraft maintenance
* Ensure the supply and upkeep of tooling and equipment to the Line Stations and liaise with the Logistics department
* Liaise with the Compliance department to ensure the Line Stations are maintained to Part 145 standards
* Use and promote the use of the company AMOS maintenance system
* Assist with the development and upkeep of company procedures
* Perform risk assessments
* Liaise with the Finance department to ensure the accuracy of invoices and prompt payment of suppliers, and assist with the administration of contracts between the Part 145 organisation and suppliers
* Maintain competence through continued education and training in the area of responsibility, with facilitation by the company
Qualifications
* Recognised aircraft engineering qualification such as Part 66 licence or engineering degree
Experience
* Experience of Line Maintenance activities
* Sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations such as EASA Part‑145 and Part M/CAMO
* Knowledge of AMOS maintenance and engineering computer system an advantage
* Experience using MS Word and Excel
* Basic understanding of general accounting principles
