Medical Device

CPL Recruitment is assisting a valued client in sourcing a quality engineer to join their team. The site has undergone significant investment and expansion, creating this opportunity. You will work with a friendly and experienced team, including leadership with extensive expertise. There are two open roles, suitable for candidates from a quality technician level seeking to step up, or more experienced candidates with 3-5 years of experience.
Experience in the medical device industry is highly regarded.
This role is part of the company's growth and expansion, and similar postings may be seen in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement solutions to sustain and improve the QMS.
2. Maintain and support compliance with ISO standards.
3. Interface with customers on new products, quality issues, and process qualifications.
4. Develop and implement process control programs to meet customer requirements.
5. Carry out process validations and product qualifications.
6. Provide manufacturing support and quality expertise related to manufacturing issues.
7. Perform quality engineering analysis to prevent non-conformances and minimize risk.
8. Coordinate NCR / CAPA processes for timely resolution and closure of issues.
9. Lead training on Quality Procedures, including Compliance, GMP, Audit Preparation, and GDP.
10. Support and represent the site during external audits and conduct internal audits.
11. Track and analyze quality data to support continuous improvements.
12. Support environmental, health, and safety regulations and training.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Key Attributes:
1. Third-level qualification in Engineering, Polymer Science, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
2. Experience in statistical analysis (Minitab), SPC, and validations.
3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
