The Role
Elephant Storage is now seeking applicants for a permanent role for the position of Finance Manager located at the head office in Hibernian Estate, Tallaght, Dublin 24. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate. The role is critical in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, supporting long‑term business growth and managing the preparation of budgets, forecasts & KPIs. Operations experience, while not a prerequisite, would be an advantage.
The Duties
* Work with the Managing Director to grow and develop the business, including project management.
* Provide hands‑on input into daily operations, supporting the team and driving improvements in process and performance.
* Oversee all accounting functions, including day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records.
* Prepare monthly management accounts with relevant KPIs.
* Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow to support strategic business decisions and sustainable growth.
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and suppliers.
* Play a key role in helping to grow the business, identifying opportunities for expansion and operational efficiencies.
The Person
* 7+ years of experience in a senior finance and/or operations role, ideally within property management, but not essential.
* Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an MBA.
* Excellent business acumen with a proactive mindset and ability to analyse and solve business challenges.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Proficient in financial software and the Microsoft Office suite.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ambitious and motivated to contribute to the growth of a thriving company.
