Location: JFK Environmental Ltd, JFK Road, JFK Industrial Estate, Naas Road, Dublin 12 D12 CF34Main purpose of roleThe successful candidate will ensure that all duties are completed daily.This will be carried out while processing incoming waste using designated equipment in order to produce a product for recycling or disposal.Ensure that duties regarding Environmental and waste management licencing regulations are always met.This is an opportunity to work in a small dynamic team setting, which will have possibilities for the right candidate to progress within the team.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for Health and safety of self and colleagues always.Ensure correct PPE is always worn by self and others on site.Operate machinery for unloading and processing of waste.Complete all relevant paperwork as required.Help with general site maintenance as required.Good communication skills and decision-making ability is required.Licences/ Skills/ Experience required:Training will be provided on site as requiredAbility to work on own initiativeGood communication skills.Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislationFlexible, Honest and reliableComputer skills an advantageTraining in any of the following areas would be a distinct advantageSafety.Manual Handling.First Aid.Forklift.Tele handler.The above description is a general outline of the requirements of the role.
