Job Title: Caretaker/Maintenance Assistant
About the Role:
The position will involve internal and external caretaking and maintenance duties within the cathedral family of parishes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out daily caretaking tasks, including cleaning and maintaining the building's interior and exterior.
* Conduct routine checks on the building's systems and equipment.
* Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
* Ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the cathedral and its surroundings.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be eligible to participate in a Community Employment (CE) scheme, which generally requires being 21 years or over and receiving a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.
