Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment Role
We're seeking a highly skilled professional to lead on large-scale infrastructure developments, from renewable energy to sustainable transport, greenways, residential, and urban renewal.
This role involves overseeing the preparation, writing, and review of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for various projects, including chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). You will take ownership of projects from start to finish, managing everything from fee agreements and invoicing to ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
* Developing high-quality mapping and spatial analysis.
* Conducting fieldwork, site visits, and technical photography to inform your work.
You will be at the forefront of the LVIA process, contributing to the strategic direction of projects within the team. Your expertise will be vital in building a sustainable future.
Requirements
* A third-level qualification in Landscape Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* A minimum of three years of experience conducting Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (or equivalent) in accordance with recognised best practice guidance.
* A comprehensive understanding of the assessment process required in Ireland.
* Excellent presentation, report writing, and communication skills, with a high attention to detail.
* A valid driving license.
