About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager Sprinkler Division.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing contract documents, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with the system design standard.
* Implementing project specific international fire protection design standards; NFPA, BSEN 12845, FM Global and LPC.
* Attending client meetings, administering technical submittals and producing project schedules.
* Ensuring projects are carried out in compliance with our ISO 9001 system.
* Estimate and control costs on projects using our ERP system and provide financial reports.
* Schedule the production of drawings with our design department ensuring current drawings are in circulation.
* Liaise with our QEHS manager to ensure all quality, environmental and health & safety requirements are met.
* Identifying and managing any additional works.
* Coach and support team members with tasks you assign them.
Qualifications
* A degree in engineering is desirable.
* Minimum of 5 years experience, ideally in the fire protection/construction industry.
* Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
* High level of computer literacy.
