Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive sales person to grow our van sales business in Keelings Flowers. You will be responsible for acquiring new business and servicing current customers to a high standard including sales and merchandising service of bouquets, plants and gifts directly to our retail partners.
Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain a high standard of customer care at all times.
* Deliver actionable customer insight to drive category growth for Keelings & to develop a relationship with these customers.
* Ability to gain a close knowledge of the Keelings business and apply this high level of category knowledge to improving the relationship with the client.
* To have a working knowledge of company products and their features and be aware of our multi-channel selling options.
* Collect data and provide report feedback to commercial managers.
* To ensure that orders are delivered in a timely fashion thereby meeting customers' requirements i.e. on time, in good condition and with good customer service.
* Promoting all company products to both new and existing clients.
* Strong sales and Merchandising ability.
* Safe approach to driving and general work.
* Developing new business within the specified sales territory.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, H&S legislation and driving legislation.
* Any Ad hoc duties that may be required to ensure smooth operations of the business.
* Multi drop delivery's in a light truck
* Flower & plant care and maintenance in retail stores

What You'll Need
* At least three years' experience within a similar working environment
* Must have experience in direct sales to stores
* Must possess a full clean B driving licence
* Must possess a track record and proven sales / merchandising experience
* Must be PC literate, with Word, Excel and PowerPoint application skills
* Good communication skills. project management & reporting skills
* Creativity & ability to work off own initiative as well as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure, with excellent time management skills
* Must have access to own transport
* Flexibility is required to work outside of normal hours to suit the requirements of the business
