Data Governance & Compliance Manager
PwC Ireland – Business Enablement Services – Chief Data Office
This role supports the Chief Data Office by delivering excellent data management services, defining policies and procedures, and ensuring governance across core data areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of data projects and initiatives
* Lead a Network Data Policy compliance programme
* Develop and implement data management policies
* Drive effective data domain ownership and governance
* Identify and implement best practices and process improvements in data management
* Engage with all stakeholders for effective remediation of data gaps and governance issues
* Collaborate with business process owners, risk management and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and promote data awareness across the business
Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum 6+ years in data management with a strong focus on data governance and data policies
* Experience working with high-performing teams and delivering to deadlines
* Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and manage multi‑tasking environments
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and storytelling skills
* Demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, adaptability and integrity
* Proactive work approach and sound judgement; ability to develop internal and external business relationships
Education: Minimum third‑level qualification; data management qualification (e.g., DAMA CDMP) desirable.
