The Role: As the HR Advisor, you will support key functions within the HR department with emphasis on Employee Relations. The successful candidate will report to the HR Manager and act as first point of contact for HR queries.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with management to deliver HR and People strategy for the organisation, ensuring objectives are met
* Support on-site teams by providing HR guidance in line with legislation and internal policies and procedures
* Manage HR queries across the site, addressing any concerns with line management
* Support recruitment and on-boarding process, issuing of contracts
* Manage HR systems, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
* Identify process improvements and make suggestions to ensure effectiveness is maintained
* Support Learning & Development function, training needs analysis across all disciplines
* Support executive, finance and payroll teams, ensuring administrative activities are completed in line with weekly timelines
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar HR Advisory/Consultancy role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
* CIPD qualified; third level HR qualification desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels
* Proficient in the use of HR systems and the MS Office suite
* Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities
* Excellent problem-solving skills
