Internal Auditor – InsuranceRole OverviewResponsible for delivering risk-based internal audits across an insurance/reinsurance group, providing independent assurance over governance, risk management, capital, and core insurance operations. This role suits a practice or industry trained auditor with insurance knowledge who wants to work within a group function and gain fantastic exposure while using strong technical and regulatory experience.Ideally you will have:3+ years' experience in internal audit, external audit or risk assurance, ideally from a Big 4 / mid-tier practice with insurance clients.Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, financial risk, and assurance over regulatory reporting.Knowledge of insurance / reinsurance operations and solvency or finance processes is a strong advantage.Good working knowledge of Solvency II an advantageProfessional qualification (or close to completion) such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA or equivalent.Strong analytical, report-writing and stakeholder engagement skills; confident presenting to senior management.High level of integrity, independence and sound professional judgement; comfortable working in a changing environment.
