Responsibilities (Text Only)
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Engage with customers across industries, company sizes, and types to determine needs and identify opportunities to fulfill these needs with Microsoft Cloud technologies. Identify and surface new engagements that align with the customer's business strategy. Work with partners and others at Microsoft, using core tools and targeted account lists to identify and engage prioritized customers.
2. Communicate effectively with line of business and IT decision makers via phone, email, and social tools. Work strategically to remove technical and business sales roadblocks and innovate to improve business development practices.
3. Serve as the key technical leader, trusted advisor, and influencer in shaping customer decisions to buy, architect, and adopt Microsoft Azure solutions. Own the technical decision-making process for sales opportunities and usage scenarios, tailoring messages, demonstrating technology differentiation, and guiding customer decisions.
4. Lead presentations, demonstrations, and architecture design sessions to explain and showcase the capabilities of Microsoft Azure, demonstrating how it can make their businesses more successful.
5. Act as the overall migration and modernization Azure sales lead, including migration for WS, SQL, SAP, and collaborating with Data & AI, SAP, and Security teams.
6. Drive security considerations in all customer interactions, ensuring Microsoft's Security portfolio is included as a key differentiator.
7. Collaborate with Top SMC Partners on territory planning and migration execution, demonstrating the value proposition and benefits of Azure migration to customers.
8. Invest in personal skill development to stay current, attaining and maintaining required certifications.
9. Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders.
10. Collaborate with sales teams, partners, and marketing to analyze whitespace, pursue high potential customers, and develop target lists.
11. Generate new leads through territory planning, campaigns, events, and demos; turn prospects into opportunities and revenue pipeline.
12. Manage pipeline effectively, ensuring hygiene and sales execution against targets, and accurately forecast pipeline generation.
13. Meet and exceed targets for pipeline generation, activity, and revenue, including quarterly and weekly goals.
14. Leverage Customer Skilling Programs to educate and empower customers for maximum engagement and acceleration of Azure consumption.
Qualifications (Text Only)
1. Demonstrated experience in technology-related sales or account management, or a relevant degree with experience, or equivalent experience.
2. Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, especially Azure Infrastructure solutions (IaaS and PaaS), and Azure application management and governance. Fluent in German.
3. Preferred technical knowledge includes cloud computing market, migration, software development, systems operations, database architecture, virtualization, IP networking, AI applications, data analytics, and IT security.
4. Understanding of partner ecosystems and leveraging partner solutions to meet customer needs.
