Role Overview
As part of the store’s Junior Management team, you will support managerial functions and help maintain high levels of customer service. You will assist in supervising staff and ensuring standards are met on the shop floor, along with handling specific managerial tasks as directed by Store Management.
Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent customer service by resolving complaints and inquiries, ensuring staff appearance aligns with company guidelines, and understanding the customer service measurement program.
* Drive and exceed sales targets by monitoring service levels, utilizing in-store devices to promote the full product range, and analyzing reports for optimal product placement.
* Maintain high visual merchandising standards using engaging techniques, keeping stock clean and presentable, and supporting sales floor standards.
* Train and develop staff through induction, encouraging personal growth, and overseeing training assessments.
Role Objectives and KPIs
* Contribute to achieving or surpassing the store's monthly sales targets.
* Meet KPIs including Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT, and others.
* Achieve upselling and cross-selling targets.
* Maintain a high Net Promoter Score.
* Ensure stock accuracy during audits.
* Complete all mandatory training for new colleagues.
Skills and Experience
* Previous supervisory or Team Leader experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
* Passion for retail, with a good understanding of current trends and competitors.
* Experience in coaching and mentoring individuals.
* Strong communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards on the shop floor.
* Ability to promote JD Group values to stakeholders.
