Full-Time Social Care Position
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our dedicated team in supporting adults towards independent living and community integration.
Care Workers play a vital role in enabling individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework or equivalent in Health or Social Care, as well as at least 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Key Requirements:
* Hold a minimum Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
* At least 1 year's experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults.
* Applicants must hold a full, clean manual driver's license and have the availability of own car.
* An understanding of current policies and developments at national and sectoral levels in social care within disability services.
* An ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to the development of plans to meet individuals' ongoing needs.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
