Skills Provision is seeking an HGV Technician for a permanent position based in County Cork, Ireland.

Working Hours 39 hours per week.
The Role Key responsibilities include: Diagnose and rectify faults across engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension components, and electrical systems.
Undertake routine servicing, maintenance tasks, and statutory safety inspections.
Utilise OEM diagnostic equipment to carry out software updates, system resets, and calibrations.
Complete job cards, service records, and warranty documentation accurately and in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements.
Liaise effectively with service advisors and workshop foremen to uphold service quality and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate profile includes: Hold a recognised HGV motor mechanic qualification or equivalent trade certification.
Possess a minimum of five years' experience within a workshop environment.
Technicians should be proficient in operating diagnostic platforms, interpreting pneumatic and electrical wiring diagrams, and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and an effective, collaborative approach to teamwork.
Intermediate English language skills.
Valid car driving licence.
A C or C+E licence would be welcomed.
