Your mission as a Test & Validation Engineering Student / Internship **** is to:

Support the project team deliverables.
Ensure system validation coverage of functional and performance requirements.
Support on-time delivery of system validation targets through the project life cycle.

Join on-going OEM development projects for Automotive Vision Systems and groundbreaking ADAS technologies.
Contribute to the challenge of developing, testing and validating the capabilities of the next generation of automotive autonomous driving technology.
Responsibilities
The Test & Validation Engineering Student / Internship **** will have the following responsibilities in the project team:
Review of system requirements and architecture design to assess testability and plan test coverage, in collaboration with System Engineers and Function Owners.
Contribute to the specification of test environment requirements for Bench, HIL environments, in collaboration with Test Tool Developers.
Design test specifications fulfilling system functional and performance requirements and standards.
Develop test methods for the system level testing of automotive camera systems, mechatronic ECU systems, automotive software features or end-user functions.
Plan and execute system testing aligned with the project schedule.
Support trace analysis and troubleshooting to determine root cause of issues and validation of fixes.
The Test & Validation Engineering Student / Internship **** has the individual responsibility to ensure:
Comprehensive coverage and depth of system testing against system level requirements and standards.
Traceability of system test specification to system requirements throughout the project development.
Test capability and readiness for the phase of system development and planned system maturity.
Maintenance of the test environment as required to fulfil the testing needs.
Implement test automation capability following platform standards and project automation targets.
Implement stress and robustness testing of the system and features.
Execute testing of planned features in bench and vehicle environments.
Monitor the progression of planned testing and prove status of test completion and deviations.
Report on detected defects and overall execution status and report for assigned features.
Maintaining test results, test logs, test reports and review process throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills / Experience
Knowledge of Electronic Systems, Mechatronic Systems, or Programming Languages from engineering studies, with demonstrable examples from coursework projects or relevant experience.
Programming skills in either; C++, C, C#, Python, .
NET or NI LabVIEW & NI TestStand.
Awareness of Systems Development Life Cycle
Awareness of Automotive Systems.
Ability to work from technical specifications for testing.
Ability to identify and accurately communicate system issues.
Contribution to reports and presentations.
Develop and maintain good professional working relationships, within the test team and other internal departments.
