Project Manager Job Description
The role of a Project Manager is to oversee the planning and execution of various projects within our organization. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist Senior Project Managers/Project Directors in delivering design, planning, and environmental assessment requirements for renewable energy projects.
* Coordinate and manage associated documents, including EIA and AA Screening, Planning & Environmental Reports, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (if required), and Appropriate Assessment/Natura Impact Statement reports.
* Manage baseline environmental and constraints assessments and facilitate interaction between project team members as required.
* Support the planning team in keeping up to date with planning/environmental legislation, policy decisions, and updates to national, regional, and local authority development plans.
* Contribute to Company submissions as required.
* Assist the Communications and Engagement team with developing effective project plans for managing consultation with local communities and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Hons Degree (Lvl 8 FETAC) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
* Postgraduate (Lvl 9 FETAC) qualification in a relevant discipline desirable but not essential.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience assisting with/inputting into planning applications and Environmental Assessments.
* Proven knowledge and experience in project development for planning applications, particularly in coordinating and managing environmental assessments.
* Strong experience working with and managing multidisciplinary project teams.
* Solid understanding of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process and familiarity with Irish planning policy and legislation related to EIA.
