Job Description
The CAD/CAM Programmer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of CNC cutting machines by programming and optimizing their settings.
* Create detailed cutting lists for Plasma, Laser and CNC Drill Machines
* Programme these lists to enable accurate machine operation
* Liaise with Machine Operators to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime
To succeed in this role you should possess advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software as well as AutoCAD qualification. Experience in programming machinery, preferably laser or plasma cutters is highly desirable along with proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel skills which are crucial for data analysis and spreadsheet generation. A mathematically minded individual confident capable inputting interpreting numerical data would thrive here also fluency English language good written oral communication skills ability multi-task flexibility move between projects.
