Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the health and safety agenda, ensuring all operations meet regulatory and internal standards.
* Review design drawings, manage RFIs, and collaborate with the design team to resolve issues promptly.
* Oversee subcontractor coordination, testing, and commissioning timelines, driving timely project delivery.
* Maintain quality control procedures, champion QA systems, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
* Implement and monitor DMS systems, managing benchmarks and inspection processes.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, including utility providers and local authorities.
* Drive value engineering initiatives and support the project manager in early stakeholder engagement.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the site engineering team, managing performance and development.
* Coordinate site meetings, oversee temporary works, and ensure seamless integration of subcontractor work packages.
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Engineering (HETAC Level 8) with at least 5 years' relevant experience.
* Able to meet demanding programme and quality standards.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented, methodical, and self-motivated with strong initiative.
* Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and assuming responsibility for key tasks.
* Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
