The Position:
Account Managers are vitally important to Red Flag. They develop, manage and execute campaigns on our clients' behalf, implementing integrated communications and public affairs plans, managing daily client interactions and reporting, developing new business leads, and pitching for new accounts.
A Red Flag Senior Account Manager:
* Leads the development, implementation and monitoring of communications and public affairs campaigns carried out on behalf of major clients.
* Works as part of an international team servicing clients on Irish, European and Global campaigns.
* Manages day-to-day client interactions and reporting.
* Helps to drive new business development, acquisition of new clients and pitching for new accounts.
* Drives media and public affairs campaigns.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience implementing PR and Public Affairs campaigns, preferably within an agency or political setting.
* Strong knowledge of policy and political processes and demonstrable engagement experience.
* Expertise in particular sectors such as technology, food/drink, or health is an advantage.
* Proven client-handling skills with experience managing large accounts and complex campaigns.
* Extensive media relationships and demonstrable experience in securing tier one media coverage.
* An interest and understanding of the news and business agenda, with the ability to identify compelling media narratives for our clients.
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with more senior and junior colleagues.
* Strong knowledge of how social media can be used to drive clients' objectives including experience in executing digital campaigns.
* A strong network of contacts in relevant political, media and regulatory spheres.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including fluent English and proficiency in Microsoft programmes.
