Job Overview:
As a Mechanical Cost Manager, you will oversee the commercial and financial aspects of mechanical packages across various building services projects.
* Carry out detailed measurement and cost analysis of all mechanical systems
* Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of mechanical packages throughout the project lifecycle
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparing cost plans, budgets, valuations, variations, cash-flow forecasts, and monthly commercial reports
2. Ensuring accurate quantification and measurement of mechanical systems
3. Developing and maintaining strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems, installation methods, plant, and equipment
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Construction Economics, or related discipline
* 5+ years' experience in mechanical cost management or mechanical quantity surveying
