Commercial Insurance Broker
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team. As a key member of our brokerage, you will be responsible for engaging with clients to manage broking, placement, processing, and administration of renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain a portfolio of current clients
* Prepare and send pre-renewal documents, ensuring timely return to comply with company procedures for issuing renewal terms
* Conduct re-broking activities and prepare renewal terms for clients
* Coordinate payments, including arranging finance options if necessary
* Issue post-renewal documentation promptly to clients
You will identify and assess client risks, offering information on relevant products and services to meet their needs. You will also actively develop and grow a pipeline of new business prospects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong administrative and organizational skills, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
* Solid technical knowledge of commercial insurance products
* Familiarity with Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, Cyber insurance, and similar areas
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and client service abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance broking
* CIP qualification or actively working towards it
