Position: Area Sales Manager

Parker Stewart are partnering with a major construction and manufacturing organisation who are looking to hire an experienced Area Sales Manager. This role will cover the Leinster and Connaught regions.
A key function for this role is representing industry-leading brands across the Leinster and Connaught regions, driving profitable growth through contractor and distributor engagement, securing and maintaining specifications with key partners, and increasing marketing share in alignment with the organisations strategic objectives.
Key Duties
Sales & Business Development:
* Drives sales through proactive customer engagement
* Identify sales opportunities through with key customer groups through business development
Customer Relationships:
* Source, build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders across the contractor, merchant and housebuilder network
* Liaise regularly with sales teams to influence outcomes
Market Awareness:
* Monitor competitor activity, market trends, prices and communicate proactive feedback to internal stakeholders
Communication & Reporting:
* Contribute and provide relevant information for sales meetings in collaboration with other teams
* Ensure CRM accountability, providing regular reports on sales activity and pipelines
Safety & Compliance:
* Operate in accordance with the organisations code of conduct, legal policies and governance including health, safety and environmental standards
Experience & Qualifications required:
* Relevant Business degree / qualification is desirable
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Proven track record in a sales-driven environment, ideally with construction, manufacturing and building products
* Strong value-based selling and tailoring solutions to business needs
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, relationship building expertise and a desire to succeed
