Our client is a well established insurance broker with multiple locations based around Ireland. They are now on the lookout for a new member of staff to join their company on the commercial insurance team as a Commercial Insurance Broker on the new business team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inbound new business enquiries forSME and multiple different coimmercial products.
Assess client requirements and provide tailored insurance solutions
Prepare and present quotations across multiple commercial product lines
Negotiate terms with insurers to secure competitive cover and pricing
Convert inbound leads into new business through strong consultative selling
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
Maintain accurate records on CRM and policy administration systems
Build strong working relationships with insurer partners
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Candidate Profile:
1–2+ years’ experience in commercial insurance (Client will also look at strong personal lines new business candidates)
Strong sales ability with a consultative approach
Experience handling new business (broker or insurer background)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
Ambitious and motivated to progress within commercial insurance

The successful candidate will work in either Galway City or Castlebar on a hybrid bases.
