Excellent Opportunity available with WestLAN Data Networks for a Trainee Data Cable Installer based in Ennis, Co.Clare. This position will suit a person that is career driven where full training is provided both on site and by completing relevant training courses.
The role will entail travelling to construction sites in the Clare / Limerick / Galway with one of our Senior Installers.
Training will include:
* Wiring of Data, Voice & Copper cable in large commercial projects
* Terminating of copper cable - Cat 6 & Cat 6A
* Splicing of Fibre cable using Fluke equipment
* Setting up and Testing of cables using Fluke Testers
* Reading & Marking up site drawings
* Redline Drawings
* Patching / Cabinet installation / Toning of cables
Requirements:
* Safe Pass / Manual Handling in Date
* Working at Heights desirable
* Previous construction industry experience desirable
* Own transport d
* Positive attitude & high energy levels are essential for this role
* Excellent time keeping and communications skills are a must
