Job Description
CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Automation Engineer to provide key automation support and implement process controls for a leading biologics company in Ireland. The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues in compliance with cGMPs across various manufacturing systems, utilizing expertise in industrial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide automation support for manufacturing systems, including DCS and OEM equipment.
* SUPPORT and/or direct Continuous Improvement projects with automation review of equipment specifications, P&IDs, and System Life Cycle documentation.
* Troubleshoot equipment/automation issues to improve manufacturing performance, changes to support new products, and maintain automation systems in compliance with cGMP.
* Support the transfer of Process Technologies from early-stage pipeline facilities to GMP Operational Status, and drive towards commercial supply.
* Perform automation change controls with guidance from Sr. Automation Engineer or Automation Lead to ensure timely changes following quality standards.
* Effectively collaborate with cross-functional peers.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline or equivalent practical experience in automation control systems.
* At least 3 years of experience in an Automation Engineering function within Biologics, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Food industries.
* Experience with development and implementation of industrial controls such as DCS (Delta V), Historian (PI).
