Role Overview As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in analysing, structuring, and maintaining high-quality data to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and business operations.
You will work closely with IT, R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Data teams to explore data uploaded to enterprise data platforms and translate it into meaningful insights and KPIs.
You will support data quality, integrity, governance, and reporting activities, while collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and fit for use in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
The role reports into the Data & Governance function.
Key Responsibilities Analyse, structure, and support the development of data models aligned with pharmaceutical manufacturing needs Apply and support data standards, naming conventions, and classification frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, R&D, Quality, and Data Engineering to gather data requirements Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies, gaps, or anomalies in datasets Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness Support data documentation and metadata management activities Assist in implementing data governance best practices and compliance requirements.
Requirements5–8 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Data Steward, or similar data-focused role Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field Strong experience in data analysis, data quality, data governance, cataloguing, and metadata management Hands-on experience with tools such as Collibra, Immuta, Databricks, or similar platforms Experience working with ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce Ability to analyse complex datasets and support data models within large, regulated organisations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic, regulated environment.
Advantageous Experience Exposure to data science, advanced analytics, or BI tools Experience working within pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing Background in multi-national, regulated environments.
