This team is responsible for initiatives that impact OptumRx's leading clients and the broader business, offering financial modelling and analysis related to major accounts, identifying key drivers of client financial outcomes and profitability, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Principal duties include performing financial forecasting and modelling, leveraging data analytics to deliver insights into financial performance, trend drivers and supporting strategic projects via analytical expertise.We're looking for someone with a quantitative mindset, a strong aptitude for complex problem solving, industry experience, and well-developed communication and stakeholder skills.Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.Primary Responsibilities:Leverage analytics and modelling insights to understand the factors driving client performance / profitability and developing solution options to drive client optimization efforts.Provide dedicated analytics support to top clients, supporting client strategies, recommendations, and development of solutions development.Collaborate closely with teams across Finance & Accounting, Client Management, Underwriting, Formulary, and Billing to deliver analytics insights and recommendations.Monitor client underperformance and manage strategies, solutions, and progress in partnership with Client Management and Underwriting leadership.Provide analytics and process support for Rebate Credits (AmCap, MFP, BioSims), including identifying key drivers impacting financials and refining credit processes to enhance logic, analytics, and data quality.Support various aspects of monthly close and quarterly forecasting activities.Support integration efforts for multiple rebate model refinements related to billing accuracy and formulary impacts and develop models to support client scenarios and impact analyses.You will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested inRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree (or higher) in relevant field (analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance) OR equivalent experienceExperienced in SQL, Databricks and/or Python, with the ability to perform effective and efficient querying involving multiple tables and subqueriesAdvanced level of proficiency with MS ExcelExperience in financial modellingPreferred QualificationsExperience in finance or consulting or strategic advisory rolesHealthcare, PBM or Pharma experienceSoft SkillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesCommunication skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplinesPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
