Practice Nurse
We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our GP practice in Cork.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive nursing care aligned with clinical guidelines and best practices.
* Administer vaccinations, conduct phlebotomy, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, urinalysis, and wound care services.
* Manage chronic disease clinics for Diabetes Asthma/COPD Cardiovascular disease Hypertension.
* Support women's health services including cervical screening (smear tests).
* Deliver health promotion, lifestyle advice, and patient education programs.
* Assist in minor procedures, dressings, suture removal, and ear irrigation treatments.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation according to HIQA and NMBI standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
* Valid registration with the NMBI.
* Experience in primary care settings.
