Overview
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support the delivery of environmental, health, and safety standards across a growing organisation operating within the energy and construction sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining compliance, promoting a positive safety culture, and supporting continuous improvement across all operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function across the business.Implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures, strategies, and training programmes in line with company and regulatory standards.Ensure compliance with all statutory, legislative, and certification requirements while supporting high-quality service delivery and a strong safety culture.Manage and maintain Safe-T-Cert accreditation, including auditing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Relevant Health & Safety degree or professional qualification.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience delivering internal health and safety training.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Familiarity with ISO standards is advantageous.
