Project Manager -
North Kildare
€100-120k + package
Required for award winning Tier-1 contractor who have an excellent reputation for large high-tech data centre, power, innovation, technology projects in Ireland, UK & Europe.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager / Project Director.
Key Requirements
1. Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in an Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent discipline
2. 5+ years post-qualification experience with tier one contractors
3. Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
Key Responsibilities
1. Agreeing project objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction
2. Responsible for the successful delivery of project through leadership, management, technical and engineering expertise throughout the lifecycle of the project
3. Monitoring the workflow of sub-contractors ensuring guidelines are maintained
4. Monitor construction to ensure quality of workmanship and materials
5. Carrying out risk assessments
6. Work to resolve critical site issues
7. Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Standard Quality Procedures and Engineering Specifications
8. Ensure Design Team provide required information on time
9. Agreeing programme and delivering the project in accordance with same
10. Chairing site meetings to include sub-contractor progress meetings and recording required minutes
11. Chairing Internal and Client Meeting as required by Project Lead / Contracts Manager and recording required minutes
12. Ensuring the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budget
13. Completing Weekly, Bi-weekly and Monthly Reports as part of Project development
14. Tracking Schedule Status and reporting accordingly
15. Tracking Project Controls and monitoring schedule and costs for the Project
16. Tracking Change Management on the Project and reporting accordingly
17. Working with the Health & Safety Department ensuring safe construction at all times
