TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting Social Care professionals on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading children’s residential services. This service offers support to children between the ages of 11 and 17 who come from challenging and difficult backgrounds.
We are recruiting social Care Leaders and Social Care Workers for the following locations.
Clonmel Co. Tipperary
New Ross, Co. Wexford
Fermoy, Co. Cork
Glenroe, Co. Limerick (Mitchelstown border)
Cashel, Co. Tipperary
Glenville, Watergrasshill, Co. Cork.
All positions are full time permanent contracts.
Requirements:
Mainstream residential care experience with young people aged 7-17 years. This does not include disability residential care / youth and community work/Day services/ adult services. It must be in a residential setting with young people.
A recognised qualification in Social Care (BA in Social Care, BA in Applied Social Studies in Social Care) Students who have successfully completed year 3 of the 4 year BA in Social Care are also accepted once they are continuing their studies to obtain their level 8.
OR
* QQI Level 8 in Psychology
* QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
* QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling / Psychotherapy
* QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling
* QQI Level 7 in Youth and Community or similar
* QQI Level 7 in Social Science / Social Studies
* QQI Level 7 in Family Support
* Professional Qualification in Teaching (Not TEFL)
* Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies
* QQI Level 7 in Disability Studies
* QQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural Analysis
* QQI Level 7 in Early Years Care where centre caters for children under 12 years (relevant to Valleyview, Barra Lodge and Clonmore Lodge)
* BA in Applied Policing or equivalent
* Holder of Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent
* No qualification or non-relevant qualification but holder of CORU registration as a Social Care worker.
