We are seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of our client, to lead the delivery of capital, engineering, infrastructure, and EHS-related projects across our biopharmaceutical site.
This role is critical to ensuring that all initiatives are executed safely, compliantly, and in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget expectations, while supporting the site's long-term operational and sustainability strategy.
Role Overview The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including facility and utility upgrades, energy-efficiency and sustainability initiatives, and manufacturing support enhancements.
This position requires strong leadership, technical competence, and an ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities Lead full lifecycle project management including scope definition, planning, execution, commissioning, and handover.
Develop and maintain Project Charters, URS documentation, risk assessments, and detailed project schedules.
Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting to internal governance forums.
Ensure all project activities meet GMP, EHS, and corporate engineering standards.
Manage stakeholder communication, contractor coordination, and governance reporting.
Drive effective risk management, change control, and compliance documentation.
Support operational readiness, validation activities, maintenance handover, and project closure processes.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering engineering or CAPEX projects in a regulated environment (biopharma, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotech).
Proven capability in scope, schedule, and cost management with strong financial discipline.
Experience working within GMP and EHS-driven operational environments.
Demonstrated competency managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors.
Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tools.
Desirable Experience in utilities systems (HVAC, BMS, boilers, water systems).
Background in sustainability or energy-efficiency projects.
PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, or equivalent project management accreditation.
Experience managing projects in a multi-building or campus-style manufacturing environment.
