Team Leader Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Team Leader. This key position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our store in Westport, Co. Mayo.
A relevant background in retail or hospitality is required for this position. We are looking for a candidate with full-time availability and flexibility to work shifts from Monday to Sunday.
The successful applicant will provide ongoing support to the General Manager to ensure that the store meets or exceeds the targets established for their unit.
The Team Leader will work closely with training coordinators and staff at the unit level, providing guidance and direction as needed.
The Team Leader reports to the General Manager and will receive ongoing support and development.
The Team Leader will be responsible for the customers, staff, operations, and cash on their shift.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the effective management of the team
* Work closely with your Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer service every day
* Supervise the activities of team members daily and ensure necessary tasks are completed to meet our high standards
* Focus on the customer and your team around you at all times
* Be hands-on and lead by example, committed to developing your team
* Train the team on all aspects of the store operations
* Coordinate in-store sales and promotions
* To assist the store manager as appropriate in employee relations
Working Environment:
This is a fast-paced environment, physically demanding at times due to certain requirements of the business.
Certain business volumes necessitate prolonged periods without sitting down.
