Job Title: BER/Sustainability Engineer
Our client is a leading supplier of building compliance services and advice to builders, including:
* Air permeability Testing
* Sound Insulation Testing
* Thermal Imagery
* Ventilation Validation
Because of business development, they are looking for a driven and enthusiastic BER/Sustainability Engineer to join their growing team.
Reporting to the General Manager, She/He will be responsible for managing relationships with their existing customer base and developing new business opportunities. She/He will have an aptitude for contemporary construction and building practice, along with the capacity to understand and communicate complex technical information. She/He will be focused on achieving excellent customer satisfaction, building strong relationships through outstanding customer care, and delivering on your targets.
What You'll Do:
* Conduct domestic BER assessments and produce reports.
* Carry out building surveys and ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
* Calculate U-values and perform condensation risk analysis.
* Advise clients on energy efficiency and building compliance.
* Progress to Non-Domestic BER Assessor status with our support.
* Any other duties as reasonably requested within your capability to perform.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Have:
* Level 6 Qualification in Construction/Engineering/Architecture/Sustainability.
* Registered Domestic BER Assessor with SEAI.
* Strong IT skills including AutoCAD, Word, and Excel.
* Full clean driving licence & willingness to travel to client sites.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator.
* A good work ethic and an attitude for learning and developing.
* A very strong attention to detail,
* A detailed awareness of Building Regulations, especially part L.
