We are currently hiring for a BIM Manager to join our growing project team and work on leading modular life sciences and data centre projects in Ireland and throughout Europe.
Key Responsibilities include:
● Responsible for ensuring that the project BIM standards, strategy, objectives and execution plans are met.
● Act as the single point of contact for all internal BIM matters and issues.
● Produce and/or lead the weekly Clash Detection meetings/reports, dispositioning all clashes and elevating non-resolved issues to relevant stakeholder/s as needed for resolution.
● Implement and manage ISO 19650 standard across the organisation.
● Creation, implementation and management of internal BIM library and Revit drawing registers.
● Act as the gatekeeper for all BIM related communications and/or submissions to ensure all are aligned with company standards and project specifications
● Maximising usability and functionality of design software and providing all available outputs from Revit.
● Understanding the scope of work, while controlling changes to ensure commercial risks are communicated. and ensuring commercial and schedule targets are met or exceeded.
● Development of BIM documentation such as BIM execution plan for each project, that same are managed and productivity on it is driven.
● Establish and implement BIM standards, processes and procedures for the company. Create and enforce Revit and CAD standards, SOP's, work instructions and client standards.
● Manage the BIM relationship between the company, its clients, external consultants, construction team and trade contractors
● Elevate all software and hardware support issues to the IT department, act as the primary point of contact for production software related issues and troubleshooting.
● Administrate BIM data and model federation and work closely with each department manager to define the project BIM deliverables for each discipline and maintain the master drawing & model register for each project and to to ensure seamless coordination between disciplines
● Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practice, procedures, workflows and technology in alignment with the company strategy and project needs.
● Reviews models/documents for adherence to projects: Review all commercial documents to ensure that all elements quoted are included in the design. Ensuring that documents are issued to clients as requested.
● Conduct compliance audits on project deliverables and proactively work with owners to address.
● Reviewing and issuing design risk assessments.
● Development of Architectural/MEP models in line with company requirements.
● Oversee the completion of Handover Packs (Operation & Maintenance Manual).
Key Person Requirements Specification:
● Professional design qualification.
● Design and Design Management experience, specifically BIM experience and knowledge.
● In-depth working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD (or equivalent software), and a skilled user of digital technology tools such as Navisworks, BIM360, Scanning, AR/VR etc.
● People management: Monitor performance, identify issues, and correct issues
● Project management: Proven track record of ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines using own initiative with Good organizational planning abilities.
● Leadership abilities: Ability to lead and work as part of a team.
