Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available – Waterford
Easter Island Garden Centre Ltd is an established, family-run, and independent garden centre, renowned for its high-quality plants, strong horticultural standards, and exceptional customer service.
We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time positions at our Waterford Garden Centre.
(Part-time roles may suit experienced candidates seeking 2–3 days per week.)
Nursery / Horticultural Worker (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Role Overview
Plant production, maintenance, and care
Nursery operations, including potting, pruning, watering, propagation, take-away preparation, and general upkeep
Supporting seasonal workloads in a working plant nursery
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in a plant nursery or horticultural setting
Practical knowledge of plants and growing conditions
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Retail Garden Centre Worker (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Role Overview
Customer service and plant advice
Plant care, merchandising, and stock presentation
Daily retail operations within a busy garden centre
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience working in a garden centre in Ireland
Strong plant knowledge and customer-facing experience
Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, motivated, and hands-on approach
