Director Of Care Services
The Director of Care Services will oversee the professional services and provision of care to residents, with responsibility for enhancing these services and reporting directly to the Executive Director.
* Develop and maintain a high-quality service and care standard.
* Manage all operational matters (clinical and non) to improve resident outcomes.
* Provide leadership and management to the team, ensuring that the home's vision and values are understood and acted upon.
* Evaluate and develop action plans to ensure high-quality service and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clinical leadership to the home and team.
* Enhance and lead the delivery of person-centred care to residents.
* Promote the concept of person-centred care, meeting physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
Requirements:
* A qualified RGN with at least 3 years' experience in the last 6 years in care of the older person.
* Not less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area.
* Current registration with NMBI.
* Detailed knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
