We are currently seeking a Senior Enhanced Nurse – ICU for our client hospital in Dublin, Ireland .
Responsibilities Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in intensive care nursing practice.
Competently operate all ICU equipment required for the management and care of critically ill patients, while guiding and training junior staff in its proper use.
Adhere to the professional standards outlined in the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives .
Comply with hospital policies and procedures in all aspects of nursing care, including the safe administration and management of medications.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all nursing staff.
Support and mentor less experienced nurses to develop their clinical skills and confidence.
Collaborate closely with the CNM2, CNM3, Clinical Facilitator, and senior nursing team to ensure effective unit operations.
Actively engage in clinical risk management and uphold principles of clinical governance to maintain patient safety and high-quality care within the ICU.
Requirements The importance of NMBI Registered General Nurse Registration A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a necessary postgraduate degree in critical care, and it is preferred.
