Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Communications Manager
to lead communications in Ireland for a multinational technology organisation, with additional support across key UK initiatives.
This role will oversee all proactive communications in Ireland, manage reactive issues and crisis activity, and contribute to priority campaigns across business and AI narratives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners across Policy, Legal, Marketing and external agency teams, as well as regional and global communications colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the communications lead for Ireland
* Lead proactive communications and manage reactive media enquiries and issues
* Build and maintain strong relationships with tier-one Irish media
* Work closely with cross-functional partners and global communications teams
* Manage external agency support for proactive announcements and campaigns
* Support UK communications priorities as required, including AI and business narratives
* Deliver priority AI campaigns across Q1 and Q2
* Measure and report on communications performance
Requirements
* Proven experience working within the Irish media landscape, ideally in technology or high-profile consumer brands
* Experience managing or working with external communications agencies
* Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management experience
* Ability to understand complex global policies and translate them into clear local messaging
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong judgement and ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments
