What you'll do
* Materials planning: Support development and management and execution of materials plans, including forecasting, inventory management, and procurement across multiple product categories. Demand plan integration, and manage materials requirements planning (MRP), including forecasting, inventory management, and procurement planning. Interpret the impact on cashflow and operational parameters to cross functional leadership.
* New Product Introduction: Support NPI and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) processes into MRP planning to ensure effective implementation of NPD/NPI for Bill of Materials release and item data enrichment
* Purchasing: Source and purchase materials, components, and services from approved suppliers, execute on strategic sourcing contracts and in line with approved MRP requirements.
* Inventory management: Analyse inventory levels and optimise stock levels with appropriate MRP planning requirements to meet customer demand and optimise operations.
* Supplier management: Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products in line with purchasing agreements and manage day-to-day procurement operations and monitor service level agreements and all associated trade and compliance requirements.
* Data analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost savings and stock and planning optimisations and support Supply chain and Operations management in productivity pipeline and support Supply Chain lead on technology roadmap deployment.
* Master Scheduling: Active collaboration with the Production team to optimise MRP requirements and scheduling for manufacturing requirements for R&D, NPI and production line kanban requirements.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Escalate any operational issues as required to Materials and Supply Chain Management, Quality, Finance, Operations and Facilities as support needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience in supply chain management, buying/planning, strategic sourcing/procurement or category management.
* Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) is advantageous.
* Proven experience in materials management or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control principles, and supply chain management best practices.
* Proficiency in MRP and inventory management software systems requirements scoping, deployments, and experience managing change requests across MRP, or MES, ERP.
* Knowledge of supply chain logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, including regulatory requirements and industry standards related to materials management is an advantage.
