Our service covers all the constituent parts required to independently produce a fund’s dealing or indicative net asset value (NAV) on a monthly, weekly or daily basis.

The Information Technology Group is comprised of three distinct departments, Technical Operations Department (TSO), Technical Development Department (IT Dev) and Information & Cyber Security department (ICD). All have a key role to play in the support and provision of essential technical and application services to the global operations teams.
Role Overview
The Business Application Support Manager leads the support and optimization of enterprise applications critical to business operations. This role is responsible for ensuring application availability, performance, and functionality, working with support teams, and acting as a liaison between business units and technical teams to improve workflows and systems. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills.
Core Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day support and continuous improvement of business-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests through standardized ticketing systems (e.g., ManageEngine, Jira).
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into functional and technical requirements, contributing to the planning and delivery of application roadmap initiatives.
* Oversee application change management, testing, and deployment of upgrades or patches, ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices and internal SLAs.
* Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers on issue resolution, enhancements, and service performance, including contract oversight, KPIs, and participation in service reviews and steering committees.
* Monitor system performance, application usage, and operational trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Manage budgeting and commercial responsibilities for all in-scope business applications and vendor contracts.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and support procedures, and develop end-user training materials as needed.
* 5+ years of experience in application support or systems management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within the Global Asset Servicing or Fund Services industry.
* Strong understanding of business processes and how technology solutions support and enable them.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in complex operational environments.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Strategic thinking with strong technical and business acumen.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes through effective communication and initiative.
* Strong prioritisation and process improvement mind-set.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
