Financial Controller My client is a well known Irish group based in Kildare. Reports to: Finance Director We are looking for a high calibre ambitious person who is interested in joining a hard-working team and who can take an existing finance function and develop it into a value add function. This is a vital role within the company and will play an active involvement in all our operation processes. The goal of achieving continuous efficiency improvement will form an integral part of the role, while working to the strictest of deadlines in a dynamic fast paced environment. Main duties: Management of an experienced finance team The production of timely, relevant and accurate consolidated management accounts on a monthly basis incorporating cashflow management and control, together with the overall management of annual statutory reporting requirements Production of annual budgets Control a centralised accounting system to ensure accounts are effectively and efficiently produced in a timely manner Ensure adherence to all statutory obligations and submission such as Vat returns etc Liaise with banks, external auditors and other external service providers Overseeing debtors and careful working capital management Preparing board packs with detailed commentary & analysis Working closely with all areas of the business to ensure business goals are met Requirements: Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years pqe Previous experience of managing a team Strong communication skills Excellent attention to details Salary:€90k - €110k plus benefits.
